Early Reality TV

In the early ’70s, when we were recording ourselves for fun, a few of us recorded a conversation, which we decided we should put on the community channel, the Calgary cable station. No idea what the response was, or if anyone watched it, but there we were, sending our signals through the tv set, in black and white, sitting at a table discussing our opinions and our lives. Poor quality 1/2″ footage, and we went on for over an hour. I don’t know how we managed to get it on there. We were, in a way, pioneers, and it was really great to do something like this. Talking over tea, cablecasted: Roberta, Carol and (if I recall correctly) Claudia, passing the camera between us, talking and laughing, intimate and natural.
